A Travel Trailer is designed like a fifth-wheel trailer but is smaller and costs less for the owner. This unit can easily be towed by any vehicle with a hitch. This is a great advantage for the owner and any of the other passengers that are riding along since the vehicle doesn't necessarily have to be a truck.

The Pop-Up is extremely portable and easy to tow. These units are among the least expensive travel-trailer models. A pop-up is very limited on options and may not include items such as a bathroom. Some people even prefer to use a camper trailer instead of a travel trailer. These units are extremely small and cheap, but they do provide comfort and protection from the elements—an alternative to sleeping on the ground in a tent.
